Grow up and be a better person.

You come in here and get pissy when one doesn't take your opinion as fact.

You come in here and gloat about being right, about something that MOST people thought was the reason. Seriously?!

You come in here and bully others while playing victim.

Just grow up.

Ha ha - you were one of the people disagreeing with me about it!

Emotionally intelligent people admit it when they're wrong.

I mean, do you really have anything besides Larry frowning/not being engaged in a Facebook video to support this? I don't think you were alone with the vocal issue... I think that was pretty much commonly accepted?

Watch it and judge for yourself. He even rolled his eyes at the very end. That said, I'm basing it on a lot more than that...the band's entire history in fact. I don't want to rehash the entire point but to me it's obvious.

Yes, the vocal issue was pretty obvious as well but several people were wrong about it and disagreeing...and now don't want / are unable to admit it.

Along with the majority, so grow up. Emotionally intelligent people don't brag about being right. They especially don't brag about being right when they hold a majority opinion.

My character has been attacked in over twenty ways on this board so you're intelligence slam is just another on a long list...and is ultimately meaningless.

Based on the avalanche last time, I'm more than entitled to gloat. I was right. You were wrong. It's going to happen again so learn to deal with it.

False my friend. You even recently quoted a 5 year old post of mine stating that I was going to find the source to that. Is the bullying clouding your memory?

Will we see you admit you're wrong?

Intelligence and emotional intelligence are two different things. And feeling entitlement is a big part of your issues.

Once again, I never disagreed with you on the vocal issue, so these posts are just shining a light on your quick to bully nature.

i would roll my eyes at Chris Martin's stupid question and answer too

Honestly, how is redhill still allowed to post on this board? Is there any active moderation? Most people are pretty great around here but that poster just constantly stirs the pot with elementary bullshit. It's tiresome to follow. I mean, that last page is laughable. (mostly because half of it shows ignored posts for me, lol)

Can I place a bet on whether or not his response to this post will involve the word "cuck" or something similar?

Sweet failed blame shift attempt!

Don't lie. I think we all know that a lot of the regulars around here are not "pretty great". It's sad I have to keep setting the record straight around here.

I got lambasted for pages on end without any moderation so don't put it on me.

It's also very strange that you're referring to me as "that poster". I've also been referred to as an "it" on this forum which that reminds me of. Should I rub the lotion in before I get the hose again?

Why don't you just change the subject if I'm the one stirring the pot?

Another demented clown projecting onto me it seems...

Move along.

Yes, you did. You already lost so suck it up.

Do you comprehend when you read? Serious question.

I wouldn't say he'll neuter it, but he'll sing it in a way that's comfortable for his voice now.

Let's remember, the reason it wasn't a single is that he couldn't even sing it back then night after night
And you claim he "lost"? He made the same point you did.
Did you lose too?

OK, so it was some of the other clowns around here. I'm not going to waste time revisiting that thread to name them but...since you care so much go ahead and take care of that.

Well, it's a start

If, in 10 years when the band retires and Larry comes out and says you were right, the five of us left here on the forum will be sure to give you your cookie for being right.

Not to kill anyone's buzz but I have listened to the 2017 remix at least a half dozen times today and it's just not doing it for me like the original version. Now I need to add that RHMT was the first song I connected with on JT when I bought it in March 1987. The new vocals are kinda so so like Bono popped into the studio for 30 minutes and just did 1 take. And the horns? I can see why they were buried in the original mix. I saw an earlier post where someone commented they gave the song some punch and filled some of the empty space with the remix.. But it's the fucking Joshua Tree! The space and atmospherics in the songs are one of the things That make it such a great album. All in all, a half assed remix of an already great song

I don't like cookies so no thanks. It will happen much sooner than that. It's just funny that stating the obvious around here meets with such argument. It's all about the regulars and this is their playground...and I stated an unpopular truth. It really has nothing to do with the band, in that sense.

They may as well be on the Def Leppard forum at that point.

It's also comical that even when proven right (from Bono no less) some folks would rather cast stones as opposed to just admitting it...or at least talking about the subject at hand.

I was right on both accounts and one has already been proven.

Keep your cookie; I'll take the truth as my reward.

The remix is meh, but on the positive side it looks like all of the Super Deluxe Joshua Tree will be on Apple Music. Glad I don't have to buy the whole thing to hear the MSG concert and the other remixes.

I'll happily change my screen name to Grand Bitch #1 when Larry quits the band over this tour if Redhill agrees to change his name to Redhill Whining Clown if Larry declares the tour was his idea.

I can't possibly imagine caring any less right now as I check in from a gorgeous beach on the Mayan Riviera, but I'm just trying to figure out who exactly was "right", because as we all know Bono lies.[emoji23]

But seriously tho...anyone who is going to try to assert that the vocal was re-recorded in order to make it easier for him to sing live is being quite illogical. The hardest parts of the song weren't re-recorded, so what is the new theory? That they'll use 87 overdubs live now? He's still going to have to sing that chorus lol
