Was just watching the re-broadcast of Live 8 on the Canadian network CTV - Man, did they blow it!!! They showed the opening of the show with U2 and McCartney then onto Beautiful Day and Vertigo - then into Bono's speech and THEN CUT OFF THE PERFORMANCE OF ONE AND UNCHAINED MELODY. Fuck them. Anyone out there who thinks this is completely WRONG let them know - phone CTV in Toronto or email them (google CTV Toronto). I've already left a rather vile message and will soon email them with more rants. A friend also told me that earlier in the day CTV also cut the performance of Pink Floyd!!! What a bunch of wankers.
