You are free to believe whatever you want and I respect your right to believe, but you are not free from criticism or consequences nor do you get a cookie merely for having an opinion.

You are free to believe that.

I hope you never try to impose, enforce or actively work to enforce your belief on others. That you let Irvine and others live how they want to, including being legally married to the one they love.
 
Seriously though, from my family experience alone. People like this just love their ability to say what they want and hide behind it being their opinion that they can share as they want.

I tried having a talk with this person from one Christian to the other, very civil and with Biblical backup. I got no response.

The responses are to the debates. All people like this want to do is beat their chest and scream their opinions.

Even if you don't like it and even if you want them to change their mind, they are trolling, and ignoring a troll is the only way to stop a troll.

You should start a lifestyle blog, like Goop! You could post things about your gay lifestyle, like gay grocery shopping, and homosexual mortgages.

People who think that other people, their lives, their families, their needs, their wants and their desires is the matter of a difference of opinion are simply hiding behind a word so they don't have to defend the fact that they're being a bigot.

Whether two people who are in a far more committed relationship than a five times married celebrity can now share in the same benefits as said couple is not on the same playing field of, "while I respect your opinion, Tame Impala is a terrible band and will never cease being a terrible band."
