First, if Lucas was wrong, it was by the way he redid his classics, and worst of all, making that first trilogy which was lame enough to spoil the legend for many fans. I like the way Boba Fett got knocked off, ironically, accidently, by Han. Remember, Han was blind from the carbonite freezing at the time, and he just happened to turn around saying 'Boba Fett? Where?' and his pole just happened to hit his old enemy he had been trying to get for years and knocked him into the pit! After all that had happened, here Han was, at his most vulnerable, blind, and about to be thrown in, and the tables totally turned at the right moment! I loved it!
Now, on the subject of Bono's voice, a fan called arsenalfan posted this as part of his review of the NY show. I found it very interesting as well as sweet and touching:

Next was "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own." I had read that this song was pretty much a conversation between Bono and his father, Bob, who had passed away in 2001. It's an absolultely beautiful song. While introducing it, Bono explained that he believes that the dead leave gifts for their loved ones after they've gone, and his father blessed him by allowing him to hit notes with his voice that he hasn't been able reach in over a decade. As the band began to play, he said, "OK Bob, here we go, don't f**k up now!"
