Big surprise?

Hey everyone sorry for opening yet another thread! Anyway I thought I read somewhere that fans should expect a huge surprise/announcement/treat on the 13th or 14 along with U2 answering peoples Facebook questions. What happened to that? Am I crazy? Was the "big" surprise the ice cream video? If so that seems a little lame.

I think one of the 'big surprise' announcements was for one if the promo dates
