A local QLD coast wide radio station (Sea FM 90.9FM, Gold Coast) announced today that no dates have been finalised or confirmed but U2 will definatly be touring Australia in early 2006.
They station is also running a competition for two to see U2 in Vancouver plus 80 other bands including Coldplay plus $3000 spending money.
