Out of all the American federal states, how many do never get played at all?

U2 have never played in the following US states

Montana
Idaho
Wyoming
North Dakota
South Dakota
Arkansas
Mississippi
Delaware
West Virginia
Maine
Vermont
Kansas- Although U2 have played Kansas City many times, it is technically in Missouri. The 1983 Wichita gig scheduled was cancelled.

Honorable mentions-
New Mexico- 1 time in 1987
Nebraska- 1 time in 2005
Oklahoma- Nothing since 1983
New Hampshire- 1 show in '81 or '82.
Alabama- 1 show in 1992
Kentucky- 2 shows, 1987 & 2001.
South Carolina- 2 show, 1992, 1997

Maybe it's time to spread the love a little bit.

Thanks for the info, everyone.

In the states where U2 never played, were there shows planned/booked and cancelled or did they not even intend to play there at all?

<<Arkansas>>

What State did they open the Bill Clinton library by Edge/Bono playing 2 songs?

BTW, I'd love to hear what Bono would say about playing the "Taco Bell Arena"

Okay, 2 amendments to make to my list above:

In 2004, Bono and Edge played at the Bill Clinton Library ceremony thing, in Little Rock Arkansas. A few U2 songs were played acoustic. So although U2 have never performed a concert in the state of Arkansas, 2 members of U2 have performed U2 songs in front of an "audience" within Arkansas' state lines. So I guess you could take Arkansas off that list, but I wouldn't.

Also, I forgot to note that U2 have never performed in any form in the state of Alaska. I forgot about Alaska, all tucked away up there.
