A home for Hold Me, Thrill Me,…?

In a recent thread there was a discussion about whether Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me was better suited on Zooropa or Pop. And a thought occurred to me – why not on Achtung Baby? The swagger of it resembles The Fly. It’s as if it is The Fly character more comfortable and cocky in his new persona. On which of the 3 albums would you place it on?

P.S. If someone would start a poll that be appreciated.

Despite it being a leftover from Zooropa, I don't think it would have belonged on that album. Zooropa, imho, was too "out there" for a song like HMTMKMKM.

Interesting thought seeing it fit with Achtung Baby.

I think it would have fit perfectly on Pop. And now that I think about it more, it would fit perfectly between Gone and Miami. It's got a similar heavy sound to Gone, and the ending with the violins would give a smooth transition into the relaxed drumming at the beginning of Miami.

hmm.. I think this song should be best on Zooropa, but I think it should have worked to have the song on Achtung baby too.. but maybe not Pop.. or I dunno.. no Zooropa had been the best cd to put the song in.

I say Pop. It definatelt suits The Fly... but It feels more POP to me.

I really like the idea of the HMTMKMKM going on Achtung Baby right after the fly.

It’s a nice concept, but there unique sounds in the song which doesn’t make it Achtungish enough.

As I listen to HMTMKMKM there are these strange sounds in that fits zooropa better. I wouldn't rule out pop either.

POP for sure, Achtung Baby and Zooropa are perfect!
Pop is missing something, maybe that something is HMTHKMKM!!!

great great great song and a great hommage to T.REX...
i could imagine to see the song as opener or closer on POP ...after WADM slipping into a humming and then start HMTMKMKM that would be nice
