The model of the next album of U2 disappears in Nice
NICE (AFP) - The police officers ni?ois opened an investigation after the supposed flight, Tuesday evening in Nice, from a model of the next album of the group of Irish rock'n'roll supposed U2 to leave to the re-entry, one learned Thursday from police source.
The supposed flight of the model, which is however only one outline according to the same source, would have taken place with the studios of Victorine (western of Nice) at a meeting photographs of the group, according to the daily newspaper Nice-Morning which publishes information.
"Prudence is essential. Lost or flown? An investigation in flagrancy was opened," indicated a source close to the file.
In the event of flight, the model stripped of a great commercial value could on the other hand be the subject of a premature diffusion on the Internet in order to short-circuit the official exit.
The antenna ni?oise of the SRPJ of Marseilles was in charge of the investigation.

The scale model of the next Irish disc of the U2 disappears in Nize
EUROPE PRESS
NIZE (FRANCE). - The judicial Police of Nize has opened an investigation to try to presumably find the scale model of the new disc of the Irish group U2, that disappeared the day before yesterday in the coastal city, after being robbed.
The scale model includes the songs of the future album of the group, whose exit to the market is predicted in second half of 2004, according to informs the regional newspaper ' Nice Matin'.
The components of the group, among them their singing Bond, were celebrating a photographic session in the Victorine studies of the Mediterranean city Tuesday in the evening. Taking advantage of the confusion, the scale model supposedly was robbed, although the Police has not confirmed this hypothesis, and it is continued handling the possibility of a deviation.
The judicial Police has opened with urgency an investigation, to avoid that the scale model can be spread by Internet.

THEY STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR!
U2 have lost a CD containing songs from their forthcoming album, NME.COM can reveal.
The band have been working on the follow-up to ?All That You Can?t Leave Behind? for much of the year. The album, which is said to have a working title of ?Vertigo?, isn?t due until the autumn at the earliest.
During a photo session in Nice a CD containing some new songs from the forthcoming album went missing.
Band manager Paul McGuiness said: "The recording of this album has been going so well. The band is so excited about its release. It would be a shame if unfinished work fell into the wrong hands."
Lucian Grainge, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group UK, added: "This matter is of great concern to us. As the missing CD is our property we are very keen to find it as soon as possible. The French police are being extremely helpful in this regard."
It is currently unknown if any of the new songs have leaked onto the Internet.
