EW Picks U2 To Win Oscar
In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (with Catherine Zeta-Jones on the cover), U2 is tipped to win the Best Original Song Oscar on March 23rd in Los Angeles.
From the magazine:
First, the Academy listened to "Lose Yourself," by 8 Mile star Eminem. "Too cool," they sniffed. Then, they checked out "I Move On," John Kander and Fred Ebb's new Chicago tune. "Not cool enough," they said. Then they heard "The Hands That Built America," U2's reverent Gangs of New York theme. "Ahhh, just right." We can't wait to hear Bono's speech.
