Sightings of Bono, the film short, is set to be released as a DVD bonus track with a new 'Greatest Irish Bands' album.

The compilation album opens with U2's 'Where the Streets Have No Name', closes with 'Brown Eyed Girl' from Van Morrison and stops off at Thin Lizzy, the Boomtown Rats, Stiff Little Fingers and a clutch of other great Irish acts along the way.

A bonus DVD will feature 'Sightings of Bono', a seven-minute film made by Kathy Gilfillan, the first time this has been released offline. The short features a girl who sees Bono everywhere she goes - eventually meeting him in a shop where she works.
