No Brits for U2 at Awards Bash

U2 came up empty-handed on the day at the 25th BRIT Awards yesterday, held in at Earl's Court in London. Nominated in just two categories, our favorite Dublin boys lost out to the Scissor Sisters both times for International Group and International Album.

Who cares? The british pop scene has been terrible for years. Trendy, overproduced pap full of novelty. Who needs their commendation? U2 certainly doesn't.

They even put that stupid Elvis remix at the top. :madspit:

I like the scissor sisters, but them winning over U2 TWICE was a bit of a joke!

And Will young? How the hell did he win anything?????????

I'm had U2 been there they would have have won

Would have been nice to see them steal the show like back in 2001. ...oh well....maybe they can steal the grammys!

that's the way it is! Me personally don't like the Scissor sisters, but hey what the hell?! U2 still leads the hardest-way-to-get-tickets-for-their-concert- category!!

no Brits, but another number 1 single

Yes. Sometimes entered the chart at 1 - first time in the UK that U2 have had 2 number 1's from the same studio album - congratulations !!!!!!

Mike

Two number ones thus far? That is big. Now, if only they could pull off a numero uno stateside.

When was the last? One?
