    10 best U2 songs since year 2000

Cedars of Lebanon is the best by some margin.

    U2 packing it in?

Worry not, I'm sure Adam's got more than enough stamina for everyone.

    U2 packing it in?

I don't think they have the Stones' stamina.

    U2's Thirteenth Album: Aimless Uncertainty?

Maybe back in the '90s Bono put all their earnings into Kodak stock.

    U2 packing it in?

Some spectacular fireworks at the end of the shows on their next stadium mega-tour would seem to be in order.

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

C- Average, which for a U2 song isn't good enough for me. I hope the next album, whenever it is released, doesn't sound like it.

Pop album - what went wrong..?

Pop is one of their best albums. The only alterations I would make to 'finish' the album would be to include the single 'strings' version of Please and a funkier and groovier mix of Mofo with wah wah guitar so that it sounds more like the live version of the song. I would leave the rest as is...

Rate: No Line on the Horizon Album

For me, Cedars and MOS elevate the album above the other 00s albums. The inclusion of Winter (Linear) would have done, too. There is a place for Boots on the album, although I think SUC and I'll Go Crazy are redundant. I would have preferred a tracklisting like this:- 1. Fez/BB 2. Get...

Album 13: Are We Gonna Wait Forever?

I was thinking more like a sumo wrestler. Bono does have a low centre of gravity.

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

I think you're confusing Chris Martin with Brad Pitt.

Bono, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.

Album 13: Are We Gonna Wait Forever?

I want U2 to move fast and break things. "You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." - John Lennon

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

Coldplay sound nothing like the U2 that I love but over the past decade or so U2 have sounded increasingly like Coldplay. So it's U2 who are the imitators rather than CP.

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

Logic? That's illogical. Distinctive guitar sound that I've heard on numerous CP songs. Do you have any evidence that no one else sees that or do you just make it up as you go along? btw, it also sounds too much like the Killers to me, too.

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

Oh please don't think I'm having a pop at Coldplay; they're very good at what they do.

Album 13: Are We Gonna Wait Forever?

Basically, I think Bono is just a big tease.

Album 13: Are We Gonna Wait Forever?

I wouldn't mind fans having an influence over U2's decisions provided they were fans who aren't a bad influence.

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

Is it because folks have heard it so many times over the past decade?

    Re-Rate the Song: Invisible

I wasn't aware that saying that I think Invisible sounds too like Coldplay was an argument, let alone a lazy one. It's what's called a personal observation, which I think is obvious. Do you have any evidence for your assertion that you don't think I'll find one person with discernible...

Ranking U2's Albums: Best to worst - Slate.com

Do you mean sleep inducing? It would have made a good single album with a couple more studio tracks.
