It was in the February edition of Time magazine 2014. I believe it said he was almost done designing it. A March 2015 tour would make more sense to me but who knows. Either way, we're going :hyper:
Maybe it was previously mentioned here but just in case, I read that Broken Bell's Brian Burton is working on the record design. He mentioned he was almost done designing it. Can U2 pull off a first leg April-Dec as it was for example, Popmart? Sure they can if the songs are finished. I'm...
I prefer to wait in line, here where I live in FL, the lines are not that long. While in line, I'll have a buddy buying tickets online just in case I cannot get what I'm looking for. I still haven't found, you know...
After 2nd & 3rd looks, it has taken the place of my paper weight. I'd rather listen to Boy. Actually, last night I watched my vcd of Popmart Brazil. Now, that's an amazing concert!
I just can't figure out why "In God's Country" is not part of the regular rotation. This has to be one of U2's best songs not played.
Musically and lyrically amazing; Edge's intro and overall guitar work is out of this world. Any thoughts/comments?
The boys have been closing with "40" for a long of time. I personally think it gets a little mundane. I'm hoping they close with "Bad" in Hawaii because ending with "Vertigo" will make me
throw a fit!
Don't take this the wrong way but we'd have a better chance at hitting the local lottery than hearing Acrobat and/or Ultraviolet.
I can't even remember the last time they did a snippet of either song.
Here's my take on it: I'm guilty of being part of the group waiting for the U2 of 1997. I realize 1997 is a long time ago and it will not come back. I too miss the abstractness and darkness of previous records although I don't particularily dislike ATYCLB or HTDAAB; they are just simply written...
Geez, and here was I kicking myself for not going to Tampa!! I was surprised they did not make a stop in Fort Lauderdale; I guess the Panthers had a game....Miami I & II were one of the best I've ever seen and what made them great was the crowd participation.
There is no way Vertigo is better than Discotheque and/or BD but in the end it is a matter of taste/opinion. Too bad it does not matter what I think because I would retire Vertigo from the set list; there are too many fantastic songs the boys are not playing as usual!!!!
This may a be a duplicate thread; oh, well, I don't care. I have always loved this song; I guess I'm showing my age. The Edge's intro is just amazing! THANK YOU U2 FOR PLAYING THIS SONG!
This may be an accurate description in terms of being the same songs over and over. The problem is that fans love the songs being played right now; our boys have recorded song great songs and people want to hear them again and again.
I personally would like to see U2 play other songs instead of...
