Exactly. Isn't the purpose of an opening band to put themselves out there to a bigger audience and get more recognition? I recognized boredom.

Sorry, but I'm with VP on this one. I listened to some Interpol before the show so I knew what I was listening to and gave them a chance when they were playing. I didn't like them. So sue me.

I just thought they had no stage presence. There was no interaction with the crowd and everything sounded the same. They came on, played and then said bye and left.

Horrible. U2 couldn't have made a worse decision on this one.

I have it on good authority that the turf was still on the Rogers Centre floor this AM. I'll keep an eye and ear out for info. :hyper:
