Hmm... I guess I was misreading all of the interviews with the band members and people like Lanois, etc. Then again, they always do this with every new album that comes out, because they have to.

I'd give it a "2" at the moment. I have to say I'm really disappointed. I agree with the people saying it sounds like a mix between Vertigo and Fast Cars. Hopefully the rest of the album will be better, because this song isn't exactly the radical departure they were promising... :reject:

I'm hoping they did, too. It would be utter crap, not to mention embarrassing for the band. I saw the "Spider-Man ROCKS!" show at Universal Studios... the scars still haven't healed. This would be almost as bad as the idea of putting MacPhisto in Batman Forever. *shudders*
