Nassau Coliseum was great bc you could check in, go back to your car and drink/eat, and then get back online around 5:30. Suburban venue with a parking lot has its advantages.

The Forum in Inglewood lets you tailgate. Wasn't able to do the wristband thing for EI, but on IE there was a Saturday show were we showed up when the venue told us to, got a wristband, went to Roscoe's for chicken and waffles then back to the Forum and tailgated all day. It was so much fun.

The traffic to the Forum was such a shitshow this year that the venue was offering Uber credits.

Yes, they have been honoring the lists. It’s only worth doing if you absolutely want to be on the rail, or just like meeting and hanging out with other fans all day. If you want a low number then check in with them the day before.

Thanks for your input.

I heard it was bad. I work just south of Downtown LA, so it was easy for me. Since I was coming straight from work, I just parked in the neighborhood. Part of the issue is the stadium construction and the way they were directing traffic.

Due to pure luck, I walked in at 6 pm and there were tons of gaps on the North side catwalk rail. No one was holding spots. This is my view. An unexpected surprise.

WOW. Just for fun, ask the people next to you what time they started checking in. Or better yet, tell them you bought a ticket on the street a half hour ago on a whim.

This was a pure fluke, to be honest. For some reason, South side was crowded as hell. North side was empty. You could have walked in at 7:45 and been right behind me. Main stage didn't start filling up until close to 8.

In Philly there was no need to do the line thing. Night 1 we got held up in traffic and got in at 7:30. We could have been 2nd along any of the catwalk rail, but we chose North side redzone rail for the purpose of seeing the entire screen and the Edge encounter during Pride. Night 2 we parked at 5:30, hit will call, got wristabnded and they opened doors right when we got in line. Again we went North side and could have had the entire catwalk rail but chose the redzone rail again. Its a great spot to see the entire show. The north side rail didnt fill in till closer to 6:30 - 6:45.

Time to get the popcorn out. So the venue is allowing people a plus 3.

Headache, please document this on Sunday.
Ha... yea that's not happening.

I'll probably stop by tomorrow, as I have some work to attend to, but I won't be spending my Father's Day waiting around on a useless GA line.

I'll readily give plenty of updates on Monday though, since it's a work day and all so I'll be there all day.

It's also supposed to hit 100 on Monday, would that should perhaps provide some extra fireworks

Disclaimer: I'm employed by the parent company of Capital One Arena - so I will not comment one way or another on whether I think this policy is a good idea, at least not here where it could conceivably be tied back to me.

That said - this is further proof that there needs to be a uniform policy set forth by the band and LiveNation in advance of the tour.

I'm glad I won't be arriving till around 5:30.

Interesting idea. So in essence saying that only the ticket purchaser needs a wristband and can bring the other people in their party in with them.

If you have wristband #69, that means you could in fact be #273 in line or anywhere in between.
Sounds like fun and chaos all rolled into one.

Anything that disrupts the Facebook losers, I am 100% for.

You play the "i arrive late and i dont care" attitude. Ok, no problem. But i bet your setlist, guitar pick, larry drumstick etc collection is as thin as air. Wrong?

This post was made around this time last year.

The earliest I've shown up this tour for my four shows is 6 PM. I've had mid-catwalk rail once, received 3 picks from Dallas(gave two to friends) and Adam handed me his pick at the 5:40 mark in this video. I'd like to get a drumstick from Larry in Boston and probably can without having rail. So yes, Jamie, you're wrong.
