Innocence email? I haven’t seen anything yet. Is their supposed to be a text message sent out?
I got an email this afternoon with general information about tomorrow's presale. The text message with the code will be sent out tomorrow morning, 2-4 hours before tickets go on sale.

I don't disagree with any of this, and I don't post that often here (you lot are a little intimidating for newcomers) but I can say I am someone with only one account, in experience as a long time member, and didn't get a code. I called and had a chat and was told this was a Lottery and sometimes people don't win the Lottery. They said it was a 90/10 split, 90 percent got a code, the rest of us didn't. But hey, I see there are a ton of tickets on StubHub so I'll just grab one from a scalper.

+1.
came here for an answer as to why i didn't get a code. now i know.
I'm baffled actually, i guess it's not my lucky day if it is indeed lottery but it sucks to not even get a shot at the tickets.

tbh the new songs are quite a let down so this might be the first tour i miss in 20+ years. thank you u2/live nation.

Now I feel lucky I haven't got the 2nd just kidding email. That being said, ticket prices are through the roof. $76 if I want nosebleeds? Really, U2? smh $325 for good seats. Maybe last year was my last U2 show it's looking. Haven't missed a tour since ZooTV...but thats in doubt now.

My big issue with this presale, as I could have easily got GA tickets or tickets in the upper levels or at the back, is I wanted lower level seats in the sections on the side. There were literally none available for us in NY, Chicago, LA, Vegas and I assume if thats' the case it was the same for all places. Unless you wanted to pay for VI{P packages they did not make the best seats in the house available to the long time paying subscribed, verified fans. .

The lower level seats were available for Boston this morning at the $325.00 face value interspersed with the VIP seats.

Been a U2 club member since the 90s. I tried getting GA tickets for DC at 10:00 this morning and none were available. I’m honestly feelin a bit burned by it. I’m glad some of you were able to get GA tickets in other cities though.

I came into the presale this morning fully expecting to complete my purchase for Atlanta through Ticketmaster, but it sent me to AXS and through me for a loop. Choices were for the vip package then full vision vs limited vision and I tried full vision twice but the only tickets were $350 a piece and I went in wanting to spend $100 apiece so got 2 limited vision at that price point which means I won’t get to see full screen, but that’s ok. Was just expecting to be able to select a price point and pick the seats I wanted like I remember being able to do with see IE via Ticketmaster. Didn’t want to dick around too much and lose out so I just went with what they offered me and didn’t even see an option for GA.

Anybody who went for the Vegas presale today have any tips? I see it's through a 3rd party website. Do you need to create an account there beforehand? Any advice for Vegas would be appreciated as I am trying for GA tix tomorrow morning.

hmmm looks like I have to ask my sis if she renewed her membership, because I haven't heard from her (she does the ticket getting these days). But then again she's extremely busy recently. Maybe she'll try for general sale Mon...
(Been fans since '81, and seen most tours)

Must say, as I had to get postage for mailing an international package this evening the PO still open closet to my general public transit travel direction was the big PO across from MSG. (oh, so close, and yet so far)

Good Luck to everyone.

That’s ridiculous.

I was all set up for Vegas today, created an AXS account and everything. Then it suddenly wouldn't accept my password and booted my tickets. Trying again tomorrow. My first experience with AXS has been

They can sell only so many VIP packages and they convert the remainder to regular seats. There's still plenty of opportunity as more shows are added. I had no problem getting great side seats in 2015.

Was anyone lucky for Chicago GA`s????

I did with little problem. I used the TM app on my iPad which for the past three tours now, it seems to work A LOT better than using a laptop. The only issue I had was that the site didn't think I had a credit card info when I went to purchase but I retyped in the cc number and it went through. Got two GA at United Center. Done in five minutes.

So would you guys recommend the app or the website? I figure if they are going to text you the link it'd be easier to do it with your phone instead of having to type in the link manually?

Also wow at the amount of tickets on Stubhub already. Thought this whole verified bullshit was to combat scalpers? My ass.

I got a ticket to MSG on the website and one for Prudential on the app today, both were about the same, with the same initial no GA/tix available message, only to have GA pop up on the third or fourth go round on both.

Those tickets were up weeks ago. They're speculative tickets. Scalpers list them before they actually have a seat and assume they can get it later. If they can't they just refund the customer.

So I guess if you're getting your tickets through AXS you can't use TM gift cards?

I got Vegas GAs today, but I know several people that got booted because of the password issue. Not sure how I lucked out. But you should know that after you click on ‘buy tickets’ they will link you to T-Mobile Arena site and ask you to login or create a profile. I created one, had to set up security questions and all, and luckily when I was done, my tickets were still there. Also, you will need a flash seats account if you don’t already have one. Tickets are currently non transferable and not hard tickets like the other venues. Good luck. Lots of hoops on this one.

Same for me for Vegas and AXS. I made an account beforehand and was logged in, but when I wanted to check out it kept telling me the password was wrong. So I just created a new account and kept the two GA's I had in the basket. Use auto fill for address and cc to buy some time and it went smoothly other than that.
There is a waiting room for each tix category if you log on before. I was in GA one for a good 15min and then right at 10 it loaded the GAs.

I've been a long time subscriber to U2.com, and before that Propaganda.

I got the email notice two weeks ago or whatever saying that you had to be a renewed subscriber and walking us all through the steps we had to take. I logged on, followed the steps and the information, and saw that I was already verified. Called a week ago to double check and they confirmed it. Got an email yesterday saying I would have my code texted to me. I did, and logged in this morning at 10 am and got 2 GAs for LA, no problem. I may try again during the Citi sale. We'll see.

I'm not sure how widespread the issue is in terms of legit fans not getting qualified. If U2 was indeed trying to shut down scalpers, it's no surprise to me that people with multiple accounts got blocked from the presale. They can't really go on a case-by-case basis and decide which account holders with five separate accounts are legit or not. There's only so much they can do, and U2 have long been frustrated by the touts and scalpers. If a whole mess of people got blocked from the presale, that's a real problem and they should do something to address it. But if you had a bunch of accounts, then it would seem like that's part of the problem.

Additionally, I notice that a few of the angry people posting here seem to be very new posters in Interference (10 posts, 15 posts, etc), furious that they have not received verified fan status. While it's not my place to question the veracity of the fandom of these posters (it's not everybody, but it's certainly some), it seems a little curious to me that they would know to come here after not getting tickets, but not know to turn up before to get info ahead of time (Interference, like other fan sites, was offering the best info possible). Scalpers have long been known to frequent sites like this, so... *shrug*.

I think you missed the point. Angry people does not equal scalper. I was verified. Still no code. And I too, go back to Propaganda.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I got an email saying that I would be getting a code last night and woke up this morning to find the oops, we’re sorry, that was an error, want a refund email? Yeah, I want a refund of all the years that I kept my membership while they didn’t tour. The problem here is the undisclosed fact that this was a lottery system.
