That was pretty good...probably should have pulled the trigger. Seats are expensive...may waste time trying to get a pair of seats of same quality if they don't show up...then I'm looking at over $600 for a pair and my wife is only a luke warm fan - she can go or not go, makes no difference. Maybe I should go alone. Grab the best single loge seat I can get and just go.

Don't spend 600 if one of you doesn't LOVE U2.

She likes them a lot but it wouldn't kill her to miss them in concert...I won't be happy unless I see them at least twice this tour!

Besides that, seems like slightly better tickets are becoming available occasionally as single tickets...although maybe there will be multiple drops sometime tomorrow and that will change.

Nobody in my family comprehends spending this kind of money to see them...I try to explain that they only tour every 5 years, aren't getting any younger, and they are among very few bands that I really like that are still together. One ticket at $297 is like a quarter week's pay check...before taxes! When I break it down like that it doesn't seem like too much money......to me!

Whatever makes you happy. I've spent thousands on U2 shows. This time I bought 86 and 48 tix for msg and happy with those prices. But I wanted many shows. If seeing 1 -- I can see 300.

Seems like U2 gluttony!

No drop today. I found nothing right now.

yeah, I haven't seen (or heard anyone mention) a GA drop for tonight at any point :-(

at this point, I'm crossing my fingers that I can find something last minute at the venue tonight!

I wonder if anyone scored any GAs last night during the drop jsolano mentioned

Maybe good deals on broker sites looking to move tix righ bfore show then?

that's my hope, but stubhub has a big warning for this show that you have to print it ahead of time because the venue doesn't allow scanning or printing on site?

Seatgeek has a bunch of electronic tickets listed, however!

we'll see!

Funny, this exact seat disappears then reappears...

Sec LOGE22

Row 18, Seats 7

$297.50 ea

Must become unavailable as it lands in someone elses 5 minute timer as they decide if they want it or not?

It's the last row in Loge 22. Not paying premium prices for an almost balcony seat!

This seat and another piece of garbage in Loge 15 have been coming up since last night.

And there is the other piece of garbage in Loge 9 Row 24!

Loge 2 Row 11, just a little too far back for $300. Not the worst though.

Yes, PDF tickets you must print ahead of time to all shows, all the time. It's not just stub hub. Do venues actually let you scan on your phone now? I"m sure they do for some events, but not for big events like U2 shows. Probably for a hockey game.

And old school way of the creepy white guy with a mustache outside the TD Garden saying "Looking for 2" which means they are selling tickets. At 37, I never actually bought tickets that way. You think it would have happened....

I'm confused - you people are giving up on hopes that Ticketmaster will drop tickets sometime today?

I don't own a printer but I have an Office Max a mile away...no reason I couldn't forward this email for printing to them, right?

I find a few tickets for 3 and 4 Boston. Zero right now for tonight.

I can't make shows at all -- I was just pointing out the lack of drops. maybe there won't be due to it being Boston and SAT show... everyone wants to go. I feel tickets show up when the free tickets people got go back into system because their sister didn't want to go.

Its a big difference from the back of the Loge to the balcony at the Garden. There's the Club Seats behind the Loge, then 2 levels of luxury boxes above that before you get to the blacony. So "almost balcony" is way off. Loge 22 is great section, but I agree $300 is too much, its too much for Loge 22 row 1 frankly.

craigslist still good source to meet real fans selling tix at last minute...

Some people went to the box office around 5 pm yesterday and got GA. As in, physically walked up, not online or the app.

Oh yeah, old school. That's make sense too! You forget the easiest ways sometimes. My friend always gets Bruce Tickets this way too before showtime.

seriously?!
I was told that GAs weren't available at the box office, only online!
(Granted that was by the San Jose event staff, but I assumed that was a ticketmaster-wide policy)

Thanks for good news, FazeCraze!

I waited at the Garden box office for all 4 Elevation shows and got into each of the sold-out shows that way back in the day! (plus Bono's Harvard commencement speech ;-)

It's hit or miss, I would save that for your Last Chance at tickets. Sometimes they release them at the box office at the last minute, sometimes they don't. Or there will be a bunch of people waiting, and they will sell them all before you get to the front of the line.

Well I'm still hoping that there will be the traditional unused promotional tickets that go back into the system...

I had an opportunity to buy a GREAT ticket for Tuesday's show last night but I'm just too far away to mess around with a weeknight concert 3 and a half hours away without it costing me 2 days of vacation.

I thought I read that at a certain time Ticketmaster gets shut down and you can only get any tickets that come available at the box office at that point.

Damn, how risky is it to do the drive from the burbs of NY empty handed?

And cheaper. Now that's a win win. You came from Washington DC and just walked up like a boss?

I walked up to the box office around 6:15 last night and bought GA tix. $68.50 each no service charge. Hard tickets.

beershack, you just made my day!

Silly question: was this a particular box office or will call? The Garden is a maze to me, was it on the West Side or East Side? (insert Cedarwood Road North/Southside reference here ;-)

If I thought that was a good gamble I'd be getting ready to drive to Boston from upstate NY.

How close did you get not waiting in the GA line?
