Not really, no. I mean you're entitled to your opinion blah blah blah but I'd say gay people becoming equal in your country is a pretty decent thing and a band that espouses love like this band does should celebrate it.

I remember when AIWIY was played during their Oct. 8 2005 MSG show. I was sending the song titles to Lila to post here and it was the first time it had been played during the US Vertigo tour. Axver was happy about that!

Marriage has been a political and civil issue since its inception, it only gained religious significance with the separation of the Latin Church into the Catholic and Protestant churches after Martin Luther etc etc.

So, if you wanna use the separation of powers reasoning, then marriage has been a civil issue for far longer than it has been a religious issue, so it's absolutely proper for the state to pass it.

But hey, don't mind me. Think what you like.
