- I'm gonna have to steal someone's Wii U to play DKC: Tropical Freeze sometime.
- This looks pretty cool too.
- Infamous: Second Son looks infuriating... in that I rather want to play it, but the main character seems utterly horrible.

- Goddamn I really hope the Mad Max game turns out to be good. I'm gonna play it no matter what.

I can't even begin to describe how happy this makes me. You have no idea. I mean, you have an idea, Gaf, because we agree about how great this is. But wow, fuck yes.

I just wish he could compose the music for every game.
 
I haz teh Last ov Uz. The preorder at Gamestop came with a crap-load of free stuff.

XBL Gold members, Fable 3 is free right now. It's the first of the new "Games With Gold" program where two games are given for free to all Gold members (their way of competing with PS+ I guess). On the dashboard, go to Games, Browse Games, Featured, and then "Free With Gold".
 
I hope The Last of Us is waiting for me ONCE I GET HOME FROM FUCKING WORK.

Thanks for the heads up re: Fable 3. Don't think I'll get it as the first Fable didn't do it for me, but, still, good on you for MAKING US ALL AWARE. That's how Knights of the Bro Republic do.
 
I had to work late and missed the National show :( I will make up for it tomorrow by buying and playing the shit out of Last of Us
 
Last of Us is getting really friggin good. I won't spoil anything, but I just got to an "oh shit" moment in the story
 
Lots of thoughtfulness in this game. Really believable character interactions too. The development between Joel and Ellie is completely convincing.
There are a lot of nice little subtleties throughout too. I love the simplicity of the loading screen at the beginning; the spores gracefully blowing across the screen. Nicely done

Good. There was no way I was supporting that bullshit. Now I can buy XB1 when the price drops and have a clean conscience.

Gamers won big today.
 
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they tried to price match, or throw something into a bundle, to justify the price now too.
 
Pretty simple: offer an XB1 without Kinect that's $399 and an XB1 with Kinect + a launch title for $499.
 
Just finished Last of Us.... What a finely crafted videogame. I thought Infinite would be hard to top; this was every bit as good in the details as Infinite was in its grande scope.
I feel like with Bioshock Infinite and Last of Us, videogames have made a big leap. I'm sad that there's not a whole lot more to look forward to in this generation, but it was an incredible way to go out
