From the perspective of someone working their way through the first season...the idea of Dexter in a romantic relationship is baffling and impossible.

Maybe someone will just casually do away with her, like with whatshisname from earlier this season. That was great. Just do away with annoying characters with no fanfare.

Seriously she's a great actress. I always feel like her emotion is completely genuine.

I like the dynamic between Isaac and Dexter. You actually do feel a little bad for Isaac with knowing Dexter killed the man he loved. And now his own group has turned on him. So he's very much an outsider just like Dexter.

yeah, me too.. you definitely got a real taste of it this episode..

Oh yeah I like him a lot, and loved that they got to just sit and chat that scene. Made me wish Dexter won't kill him and they can just be buds. :cute:

You do kind of wish they could become buddies :)

I found it interesting how Dexter is the one giving advice, or explaining how killing won't bring back the one you love. Yet the irony is they're both natural killers and it's deep down what they enjoy.

I'm wondering if the more they learn about each other, the level of respect continues to grow and in the end they both end up helping each other out in a way. Odds are one of them is going to end up dead.

Yeah that was a new good one. :D

I was sorry to see Isaak go at the hand of his weasel employee. I liked he and Dexter's dynamic but oh well. Plus he was gorgeous. :shifty:

Still not impressed with the whole Hannah bullshit. Disappointed that the writers are asking us to forget that Dexter has had actual feelings before this. Feels so fake forcing some of those lines on his character. Really a shame.

But droooooool over the LaGuerta scenes. Love that story line coming back. I still hold to my theory that Matthews and Harry were both in on creating the Dexter super scum cleanup killing machine for Miami Metro.

Love your theory! That'd be amazing! I also agree with you on 3 points: Isaak is hot, sad to see him go & I'm over Hannah's build up story.

I'm also not fond of Meth head Quinn's storyline right now. He needs to quit drugs and eat some burgers so he can be hot again.

Matthews and Harry were like best buds. I really think he and Harry were both the masterminds of "creating" Dexter.

And when you think about all the shit that Dexter has gotten away with... I wouldn't doubt him having a little anonymous "help" somewhere higher up at Metro.
