Fuck Yes. We're looking at a matter of weeks, now, Mr. Mike, until the new book. Sweeeeeeeeee

I finally found all of my copies of the first four books, but there's just no where near enough time for me to do a reread before the new one comes out. I may try anyways, or may just read Feast and Storm again.

Re-reading just two seems like it would be disappointing or at least less than the effect you're looking for.....I'd either re-read them all and get to the new one when done, regardless of when that is, or just read the new one and re-read everything down the road......but you gots to do what makes ASHLEY happiest, since you're Ashley and all.

Crap on a stick I'm excited for the next book. And I already miss the TV series, it really did the book justice.

I hope the series comes out on DVD quick like and what not, since I've only seen the first two episodes.

And Ashley will do what an Ashley will do. This Ashley is unsure, but likely will just read the new book when it comes out and then start over again afterwards.

4 books were purchased last night. Well, 8, if you count the fact that I've talked the show up so much that a friend who hadn't seen a single second of it bought them all too.

Alright, now that I'm settled and found some time to waste, I've caught up on the entire season. Is it spring yet?

Obviously the answer is no, because winter is coming

I intended to start the first book last night, but got a phone call when I was about 5 lines in. Reading will begin tonight, I'm excited.

Outside of Tolkien and CS Lewis (who I don't really consider a fantasy writer in his fiction, and obviously the bulk of his work wasn't) I've never been into fantasy, my friend tried to get me to read these a few years ago but I resisted. I was tempted once I got into the show and the new book came out, but once I got further into the season I realized I was just having too much fun going along for the ride and it wouldn't be the same experience going forward if I read the rest. So for now I'm sticking by that MO.

i've heard that i need to get on this bandwagon. or rickety horse-drawn cart. or whatever kind of vehicle it is. i might have to emend the "i don't watch anything that isn't streaming on netflix" philosophy regarding tv that i seem to have developed since my direct tv box died.

I was just thinking I'm in the mood to re-watch this over the holidays.

And, whoa, Natalie Dormer?
