ok, so nobody will make full check on me becuse i was ''suposingly'' lying or will?

Good morning everyone! North Star full band sounds amazing!

As for every show, I'm hoping for the return of Unforgettable Fire. Maybe Ultraviolet or PITNOL will come in the set also. Other than that, Zurich should get another great show.

EDIT: Looks like Mothers Of The Disappeared was also soundchecked.

u2gigs

MOTD from stadium.

I concur. It would be good to see UF back, though I'm doubtful at this point :(

What are people's thoughts on the Stingray -> Magnificent opening? A good video is here:
YouTube - U2 Return Of The Stingray Guitar / Magnificent, Zürich 201009-11

I like it, though there still seems to be a long pause between the songs, which doesn't quite work yet, but I think Mag works better here than BD did.

The pause doesn't really work. But still, it's better than BD.
I think they should just ditch ROTS and start with Mag.
No Line On The Horizon would still be the best choice though.

I think a Space Oddity > Soon > Stingray Guitar > Magnificent would work with the lights off by the time Soon begins. That awkward pause is still there.

As long as it's not BD opening and it keeps BD later in the set, I'm fine with it.

Mercy could work perfectly after Stingray...plus all fan forums worldwide would sort of imediatly big-banging:D

now i have some SERIOUS expectations for my Paris show saturday, plus it's one of the biggest attendance (if not the bigger crowd) of this Leg plus kinda "night III" after the 2009 shows...can't wait :hyper:

Now I'm confused. So they did rehearse EBTTRT, Gloria...?

There's NO source that can confirm it, and one(U2gigs) that says it didn't happen. So I'm going with didn't.

North Star sounds pretty nice full band

Ok so all rehearsal news on twitter is:

U2GIGS:
MOTD > Walk On
North Star guitar riff
North Star full band

U2tour.de:
Mercy
MOTD

U2start:
Gloria
MOTD
Mercy
North Star full band

Something fishy is going on here. Is U2tour.de confusing Mercy and North star? Did Matt miss it, even though his hotel is right next to the stadium and he can hear everything from his room? Where the F did U2start get Gloria from, AGAIN? Did they mistake the tech soundcheck for U2(as Sam always does Gloria)?
I'm not sure if U2start has anyone there, so I think they could be posting from U2tour/U2gigs's tweets. We can safely say MOTD and North Star have been rehearsed. MOTD is being told by all sources and we have a clip of NS. The rest? I don't know and won't believe it until I hear it/get confirmation otherwise.

I agree! That's how my dream setlist begins (posted yesterday). I don't think the pause is awkward when you're at the show, because Bono is comunicating with the crowd, the claw lights up etc.
