*tries to remember the name of that Russian film she really enjoyed that had vampires and light vs dark and a frozen goldfish in it*

I'd rather be missing the finals this year Vlad. Better to finish down the lower end and be pumped up for next year, than get blown out in the water first week of finals.

Not that any good picks are or offer in the draft this year

I'm not too fussed about finishing in the bottom 8 anyway, it's like another 2004. There's a lot of work to do and it'd be nice just sitting back and watching the finals action without worrying over my team.

Yeah it wasn't the best of experiences, especially the 'hidden twist' at the end of the last book that kind of makes you want to gouge your eyes out and become the Joker. But I want to see what Alison says about it first!

... That was a TWIST??!

*gouges, become's Batman's nemesis*

Yeah, the whole thing about
the implied pedophilia, bestiality combined with half-necrophilia thing with her kid?
Apparently that was the twist with that Jacob wolf whatever.

My Existentialism reader is basically Camus and Sartre with some Heidegger. What did you think of Locke?

Ah, see, the bits of Locke I've looked at were in first year political science, the Two Treatises of Government and what-have-you. My knowledge of his writing on the self is only in passing.

Could be a tough and unrealistic ask but could you ever imagine living in Russia for a year or two, you'd pickup quickly then.

Yes, what? You've seen it/no? Actually, haven't read that novel.

FWIW I've always imagined you as "Shurik", well, just a wee bit.

I'd like to, but I don't know if I ever would ...

Oh, I was just saying the title made me think of a certain other movie ...

Yeah, I'll be studying his political theories in second year MHIS - so what did you think anyway? :p (His writings are on reason in my subjects, I believe. Can't remember off hand.)
