The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

The night went something like:

:drunk: guy: *mumble mumble*
Me: *moves to let him out*
:drunk: guy: *returns*
Me: *moves to let him in
(repeat every five minutes)

During Desmond Tutu portion of the show:

 man behind me: I donwannahear this :censored: idiot!
Me:
 man: I wannahearsome :censored: ROCK 'N ROLL!

Add "They better play some :censored: good songs next. I don't wanna hear this crappy :censored: " and this could be my Foxboro 1 show.

You still saw a great show and had a fab night :D

Should we create a separate Photobucket account to DL everyone's pictures?
This idea came out once who figured out that many of us took pictures and it will be a great way of sharing them.

thoughts?

Ha, mine is too. She's posted like 25 times in 4 years, and half of those were my posts when I posted by accident when she wasn't logged out! :twins:

:giggle:

I think 5th Marauder (her name here) has even less posts than that.

Just got home a few hours ago from Las Vegas. Catching up with everyone's comments and pictures is a blast. Great pictures everyone! My wife got some good pictures but I have no idea how to post. Even though the setlists were the same, Las Vegas was a lot better than Phoenix. Maybe because Phoenix was on a Tuesday night versus Friday night. Who knows? The boys seemed "looser" and very playful in Las Vegas.

I went to pick up our RZ tickets Thursday afternoon after driving in from Arizona. The box office was closed at the stadium and we were told to go to the Thomas & Mack Center. No problem - it was on the way to the hotel. I told the agent at the window that I wanted to pick up my RZ tickets and gave him my ID and credit card. He could not find the tickets. Finally a supervisor came over and told me I had to wait until the day of the show to pick up the RZ tickets. According to her, this was the promoter's requirement.

I was expecting the worse on Friday with the expected traffic jam getting into the stadium. No problem at the ticket window and got into the RZ about 7:15. We were on Adam's side and I was surprised that we could walk right up and grab a rail spot. We did not drink or eat anything as we did not want to lose our spot. But the RZ was a great experience with no pushing or crowding at all.

I wish that UNLV or whoever manages the stadium had better organization over the parking, It was chaos trying to get out of the parking lot. I wouldn't be surprised if there were several fender benders that night.

The good news is I won about $400 playing craps on Thuirsday night and Friday afternoon. Combined with the free room - an excellent trip!

On to the Rose Bowl on Sunday for the 3rd and last show of this leg. Have fun everyone!!

After two days at the Grand Canyon and seeing The Beatles "Love" at The Mirage I ended this trip with the Las Vegas show last night. It was funny that you could barely fit the claw into Sam Boyd. Got to the outer rim with no problem. Great sound. The few "not so old" morsels were nice "Mysterious Ways" Etc, the "Unforgettable Fire / Ultra Violet" segment was stunning. The set flowed nicely, I personally thought they didn't warm up completely till after "Magnificent" (But "Boot's" rocks live)

This 360 stage does a great job to make a stadium show intimate. I agree about the lack of water. The beer drinkers and their bottle's were pathetic. ( I'm glad most venues in Cali use plastic cups) After the show I observed the cops doing the inventory of the exiting drunks. I lost my sense of the streets so I approached a young cop and asked for direction. He really looked me over doing my inventory. (I'm sober) and then said back to me "You walked here from Siena Suites"? This is not a safe area. Be really careful. That was a some what fearful walk back. I met some nice fans everywhere. Great show and fans. I'll see them back home again in Oakland ... But I'll get seats.

 . . . :applaud: . . . I am having so much voyeuristic fun in this thread . . . keep it up peeps :D . . . the photos are  and it sounds like it was a fantabulously awesome night for all of you . . .I think I got more of a kick out of the photos of all of you lovely interferencers (you are all too gorgeous :sexywink: ) than the boys themselves

I have HD video of Bono doing ALL of Viva Las Vegas, but our hotel connection sucks so it'll take forever to upload. When I get home on Tues., I'll put it up.

Again, nice photos, everyone. Great to meet those of you I did if even briefly. Next summer, I'm committing to at least 6 shows (and fan gatherings), so I hope to meet more and talk for longer.
