d.darroch is from Australia : hmm: Who else? I actually considered rooming with d. but Mr.Z frowned on that. I wonder why. : lol:

Ali, nice to see you pop you head in here. I miss you. : hug:

Robert and Barbara... unless there's another Zooey they're meeting up with in Vegas!

I had to get stitches in my finger on Sunday. I sliced my pinky fingertip while opening a can of dog food. I've done it a million times before and it never happened til Sunday. It's not hurting as much today though. :)
Ow! Glad it's on the mend...

You and Jem are lookin' hawt there! And who's that nice gentleman with you...

Good luck finding the setlist... I'm sure it will show up at some point.

Here's an example of why I haven't been around much lately
Today :rehearsal
Tomorrow: soccer practice
Friday: Octoberfest
Saturday: bike ride, hair appointment, theatre event, marching band show, husband's gig
Sunday: run, theatre event

I'm tired just reading about it!

:crack:

I don't have that good an excuse :reject:

: shifty: I may or may not have unnecesarily asked Irishmen for directions just to hear them speak.

And I may or may not have allowed a telemarketer with an Irish accent to tell me allll about some new credit card that I had no intention of getting, just to hear him talk... :D

It'll be ages before Rolling Stone shows up down here, I'll just wait until I see it in a newsagents. Although maybe I should boybott it for not giving the rhythm section enough love... :tsk:

... Yeah, this work from home thing is totally working out.

Confusing people by speaking other languages is choodessny.

What are their usernames? Are they posting in the Vegas thread? Is it dumb that I'm excited by a vicarious Ali connection?

I actually have no idea, I met them through an Aussie email list and have been going to Australian U2 Show gigs with them for ages. I didn't even know they posted on interference!

I did ask them to say hi to you (and the other interferencers), so hopefully they'll make themselves known... *L*
I got all excited too when they mentioned they were meeting "Zooey" :D

Gotcha. I'm still bummed that you're not coming over here for the tour, though. And there's no way I'd have the money for a trip down there. Alas, our love was never meant to be.

I'm not giving up completely, yet. There's still a lot more travelling I want to do, and you live near some very cool rocks.

Indeed. And I also live near a big hole in the ground that might pique your interest.

btw, What ever happened to you moving to England? The same thing that happened to my year abroad in the UK, I suppose

Ooh, I can quote again... forum hiccup must be over.

But yes, financial crisis and Mexican wedding and U2 tour scotched the UK plans... I still need to get my arse into gear and apply for citizenship, since I'll be too old for a working visa in a couple of months (argh, where did the time go).

I still want to give the UK thing a go, when I have another $10k saved up and I'm a British/EU citizen and I've gathered my courage again. May take another couple of years... And it'll be hard not to just go on another holiday when I get the cash. Courage for international moving is at a low point right now.

Big holes in the ground...

I'm just watching some youtube vids of Barcelona. I still don't get what happened to One. What was so bad that B felt the need to stop  A bit embarrassing I think. Actors know that if you play through a mistake chances are the audience will never be the wiser.

Sorry, if I'm beating a dead horse - I just wonder what I'm missing...

I've never changed my avitar but there are a couple other ppl, who don't post all that often, that use the same avi as I do and it always messes me up when I see it in another thread.

I don't usually change my avatar either, as I know it causes confusion. I was just a bit tired of the bogan thing and it's more a superthread thing anyway.

:D My new avatar is a celebration of that there is to come!

:hyper: Spring 2010!
