Crazy Tonight Remix

Why are they doing this? Why do they keep playing that remix live?

U2 are supposed to be a rock band, not a remix band.

Many IGCIIDGCT fans, who want to hear the proper version live, will be dissapointed when they pay for a U2 gig only to discover they play a crappy remix version of it instead.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this btw.

But I repeat: U2 are supposed to be a rock band, not a remix band.

^ does the poll not tell you something? the majority like the remix version, you see videos of them playing it and people are having a great time, it looks to create a great atmosphere,

yeah the atmosphere was wonderful! it was just a moment of pure joy and immense fun... i really didn't like the remix version i heard a few weeks back, but the live performance was sweet...

Saw the show live in Paris night 1. The remixed version really does add a LOT of energy to the show.

Loved it, YouTube videos really don't do it justice.

I think U2 are supposed to ENTERTAIN.

Uh the Remix is still a rock song dude. Don't let the "remix" moniker confuse you.

And I for one fucking love it. THIS is what I want to see when I go to a concert. Not just bit for bit replications of the songs on CD. Otherwise I'd just listen to the album. I wanna see shit mixed up, rearranged, had fun with, and spit out something completely new and unique to the live experience.

I'm changing my vote to the remix.

I woke up the other day with it in my head... it finally "clicked". Just... wow.

Amen!!

I think this poll should be closed. The results aren't going to change.

My 2 cents:

I very much like the album version of Crazy Tonight, and would be happy to hear it replicated Live. That being said, I was at all six shows and the remix version is a highlight, for die-hards and casual fans alike. It just gets the whole audience up and dancing.

I loved it.

I really like the album version, but the live remix version is miles ahead, it's such a joy to see every band member enjoying themselves especially Larry, so he's not confined to the drum kit 100% of the show. It's similar to being at a Disco, it'd be a dream to see Discotheque follow Crazy further into the tour.

I agree...I do like the album version, but seeing the videos of the remix version is pretty cool, with all the band getting into it and walking around the catwalk

@ 1st I knew not what 2 think of it... now I'm n LOVE w/ the Remix. Several of the remixes that they've posted online have been brilliant as well!
