Am i the only one who hates the new logo? I mean its crisp and clean... but i can make that in photoshop.....

Its not bad... i just prefer the other one, it has more orange.... which i like.

I am a huge fan of four5one and this just doesn't seem like they designed it. this new image is very rudimentary (it has a gradient in it that comes with Adobe Illustrator), it is way too delicate of a mark now, and feels retro (nouveau or streamline) as opposed to classic minimalism. willie expressed his disappointment for the original mark in a diary entry, which may be a hint as to why this has changed. i'd love to know who designed it. i love the star trek/peace sign/mercedes/gyroscope/compass allusions that you guys have posted. these all seem fairly cliche to be represented so literally. especially when the album artwork (the equals sign and typeface) seem so abstract and representational in a clean and bold way. overall, it feels pretty unprofessional from a graphic designer's standpoint. gradient swooshes are pretty much property of 1998.

I could make the Vertigo tour logo in photoshop. it's totally a peace symbol, though. 360 degrees... e.g. world peace.
