This has to be what deep uses to browse interference. It's the only explanation.

No one else commented on the quoting of Deep's "best terrorist joke", but I will.

That was fucking GENIUS.

Also, The Rising > Born in the USA, though it could stand to lose a few tracks (The Fuse, Lonesome Day, Further on Up the Road).

I can get down with that. The Rising's that good. Born in the USA is good, too, though, if only because of Downbound Train.

Yes, this. I even agree with your losing a few tracks list, though I'd add Mary's Place and Let's Be Friends to that list.

The last four tracks of The Rising are an absolute tour de force.

I LOVE Let's Be Friends. Come on, what's wrong with a little Philly soul you fucking poser?

And Mary's Place is trying a bit too hard to be classic Boss, but it still works.

The singles on Born, aside from the title track, are pretty lame. Dancing in the Dark--could that be any cheesier? Yeah, it was fun when it came out, whatever. The Boss+synths=:yuck: And MAJOR points off for the retroactive lameness of Courtney Cox.

Glory Days is pretty weak too. The album is just SO fucking dated. Yeah, Downbound Train is cool, there's a couple other non-singles that are good. But fuck, give me Tunnel of Love any day over that mainstream old-time rock 'n' roll bullshit.

This Broadway's got, its got a lot of songs to sing,
if I knew the tunes I might join in.
I go my way alone, grow my own,
my own seeds shall be sown, in New York city.
Subways no way , for a good man to go down,
Rich man can ride, and the hobo he can drown.

And I thank the Lord for the people I have found,
I thank the Lord for the people I have found.

"Glory Days" sounds like a John Cougar Mellencamp romp, if Cougz didn't suck. This is our country, after all. "I'm on Fire" is pretty awesome, too.

Man, the title track from "Tunnel of Love" is astounding. The only Bruce albums I cannot get into are Lucky Town, Human Touch, and The Ghost and Tom Joad. To be fair, I haven't given the latter much of a chance.

They played Beautiful Day today on Letterman. Vertigo was also played, but off camera.

Fuck.
