I don't know if this is a "secret tip" or if I just got lucky: I signed up for skype.com, used a headset and got through using that. I just wanted a third line to use, but that was the one that worked!

Thanks clerks :hmm: I would take someone from here if I won, no favors required. No sense in dragging someone that doesn't even like the band

Circuits are busy... 92.9.... what is it anyway? random caller?

Well you're from Boston area, love U2, and 30 Rock I see -- all great in my book.

Damn! I didn't know the 92.9 song because it wasn't posted this morning, I come on here when I get home from work and find out it'll be played between 2:15 and 2:30 and it's playing right when I turn the radio on and of course its busy.

This whole week is making me incredibly sad  other than that the week's going great, and I love finally having the album in my hands!

I thought the same thing earlier today. I have friends who enjoy U2 but would not really care one way or the other. People on this board it would mean a lot to go so I would offer the ticket here.

...but that is if I ever get a ticket myself :)

You would be my hero for all time, and I'd love to take an Interference person too, I don't know enough true fans.

NOOOOOOO it rang for most of the song then It clicked to a weird rapid busy signal.:angry::angry:

That probably means you were caller 10 or 11 and on one of their other lines while they talked to the winner, then they busy out the other lines, disconnecting those waiting to have their ring answered. I've had that happen, so frustrating.

I've been wrong caller 6 times during 5 contests (got through twice as the wrong caller in one go yesterday).

My cohort has been wrong caller twice today.

It was worse earlier today being at work and wondering if I might get picked on WAAF and have no idea... slim chance but I would have been crushed if they picked me and I didn't call in. Gah

But on the other stations I've not gotten in at all, always busy with multiple lines.

What was the 12:15 song clip on WBCN?

How about having a colleague try to train you on your new job just as 3 different radio stations offer tix? I can't say, NO, GO AWAAAAAY, I NEED TO WIN ME SOME U2 TIX!

Well at the very least we can all make some connections for when tickets go on sale, and show time rolls around extra tickets, car pools, GA line buddies?

Are you dialing in from a work phone? I'm working from home today and my house phone and mobile are so unbelievably slow in connecting. I haven't gotten through once.
