I actually couldn't listen to The National's albums until I saw them live with R.E.M. over the summer.
But, after that, I "got" it, and I've been listening to their albums pretty consistently since.
The National and Modest Mouse opening for REM....I resent you
Two nights in a row
I saw Amy Winehouse, Stereophonics, REM and the Verve one after another...
Castanets - City Of Refuge
(I just wanted to have some music playing while I was working and I like the description on 3VOOR12 - Luisterpaal : Experimental, Dark, Nothing to nowhere, bleeps)
Still insanely overrated

All on my Target trip:
Win. Win. Win. Though I'm of the minority of people who likes the Fleet Foxes album better than Sun Giant EP.
Because it's regarded as one of the best albums ever? When at best it's just a great album?
When did that come out?
Just a couple of days ago. I think the 13th was the official release date.
