When will the first legitimate song be leaked, not officially released?

How artistic is this album in comparison to the last two?

Slow Loris, I know you said that "Mercy" would not be on the album. But will Mercy have evolved to a new song, perhaps?

If not, do you have an idea of their intent for plans with Mercy??

"Psychic readings" ...he's just guessing guys  Entertained, absolutely, but lets not take this as canon or that he'd know that Mercy has evolved into another song or anything.

good point

dear Loris
I am counting on your infinite wisdom instead of your gift of psyhic readings
is there a difference between being a fan of a band and being a fan of 30% of a band's output

a thank ya

Dear Slow Loris

Will there be any rock songs that will get adrenaline rushing? (eg. Bullet The Blue Sky)

Whats the longest song on the album?

It isn't any of the rumoured or confirmed song titles. It's a song that will gradually take you into lift-off without any landing gear, and is the same song I was describing earlier as the one that will lift an entire stadium into a frenzy with a hypnotic build up and ecstatic chorus sung in a group harmony. People in every stadium in the world will be singing along to this modern day epic and, like 'Bad', the audience nor band will ever want the song to end.

Could the Slow Loris provide a line or two of lyrics from a song on the album?
"...the east and west..."

Are you asking the Slow Loris to go out on a limb? :D
Letting go is the hardest part...

seeing as though you're Indonesian maybe you can answer this- kira kira berapa lagu di dalam album ini??
Too slow to learn more than one human language. This Loris wanted to conquer America first.

No, 'Mercy' is still 'Mercy', but it will be saved for a later project.

dear Loris
do you think this album might divide U2 fans :yikes:
As always, but eventually both sides will fall in love with this record.

Is it even possible to divide U2 fans even more?

Maybe the question should be: Will this album unite U2 fans?
This album will unite fans more than any other album before it. The themes of this album have to do with unification, actually. It's the Eastern world meeting the Western world; it's the North meeting the South; Ireland holding the hand of Africa, almost a reunification of kindrid spirits.

No, there isn't really a difference. To be a fan at any level of art is to tap into the world of infinite. As such, 30% of infinite is still infinite....a doorway to that something other. This is to truly appreciate the music of U2 or any other artist. That is, to be a fan of the band vs. to be a fan of the band members themselves....which is more the realm of "fandom".

Yes, more than a few. U2 said that either the rock would have to go or the rock would have to get harder. Well, the rock got harder. And it got much more interesting too....
Loris,

Will this album make U2 uber-popular again?
Yes.

Yo Loris,

Does Edge use his infinite guitar on this one? Only used this for WOWY I think?

Anything to rival or beat Streets as an unbelievable get up and jump around in a Stadium song?

Cheers papa bear

Well that's just..:hyper:

I remain hopeful - but don't put too much stock in that happening..

Wouldn't that be spectacular -

:rockon::bow:

Oh almighty loris

Will we have long edge guitar solos ("fly" or "until the end of the world" like)?
Do you see the chorus "I Belive" in any of the songs??

Woo, goody.

Now thats something to look forward to.

Thanks Mr Slow Loris.

Dear Slow Loris,

Will we see any creative and innovative video clipz? :hyper:

Yes on both questions. It's mixed and produced to sound very different however.

Hey Slow Loris, will I ever find true love and get married?
Yes, but first you have to really want to take the steps to create that.

Yes on both questions. This album is much more loose than any other U2 album to date, even more so than The Unforgettable Fire or Boy. There are amazing song structures of course, but the songs are allowed to play. There is far more "breathing room" on this album than ever before. The instruments are allowed to roam around, and Edge dances just as much as Larry and Adam do (and yes, I know they can't dance...but on this record they do!).

Dear Slow Loris,

"Epic" is the word I would use.

Stop it, Loris! You are only setting us up for disappointment! gaaaaaaaaah...

btw, how much staying power will the album have - not just on the billboard charts - but with the public, as well? Also, when all is said and done, where will "No Line on the Horizon" (album) rank on U2's 'Top-Selling Album' list?
