Agreed. Acrobat is so heavy and builds this awesome angry energy, then to go into this light little ditty... Wild Horses would be perfect after Acrobat, could still be MacPhisto territory. ‘You’re dangerous cus your honest’. Could start peeling away the hat & wipe off the the face paint. Whatever my opinions though, hearing Acrobat is worth the price of admission.

Fantastic night. The band were in good form. As others have noted, it's hard to hear Bono sometimes as the bass is too loud. Bono was quite upbeat. Lot of energy. The Bay Area crowd was much better than the last two shows I went to here. Gloria was the treat of the night even better than Acrobat. I wish they sang WGRYWH and they had time to do so! It wasn't 11pm yet. Anyways, I MIGHT go tomorrow.

Worst song: You're the Best Thing About Me. Not sure who picked this arrangement but it sucks.
Best song: Gloria...what a surprise!

It's pretty obvious they can't play the way the really want to. The performance on Fallon was a bit of a mess and of course the BBC thing ended up being acoustic.



I reckon they need to shift the set list around a bit. Play Desire, play SATS then bring in Please which can transition into Acrobat with a bit of Macphisto. Maybe shift The Best Thing up after Vertigo? It just doesn't work where it is now.

They played it full-band at the last show I went to (Kansas City) and it was just fine. I don’t know what they’re thinking now.
