Fan out--what to do?

So, I noticed my laptop was super hot the other day and realized I couldn't hear the fan. What can I do to get it fixed? Should I just take it in to Best Buy? It's not quite a year old (I bought it literally 52 weeks ago to the day, so it'll turn a year old on Saturday). It's worked great. Any info would be helpful, please and thanks!

If it's less than a year old, it should be under a manufacturer's warranty. Call them first for a replacement.

Is it a laptop or desktop? Which fan is out?

It's a laptop. It's less than a year old. I only know of one fan... but oddly after a week of not working, it began working again today. I'm a little unsure how that's possible.
