If you have a PC DONT do it. If you have a Mac, you are safe, but personally I think SoulSeek is better/easier.

If you're on a Mac, you have to get a different SoulSeek client. Right now I'm using SolarSeek, it works pretty well.

i mean, i have a PC and I've been using imewire for years. have had no probs and getting quality shared music

maybe simply give each a try and decide for yourself which fits your preference the most

Yeah, some people never have problems. But honestly you can get just as much from SoulSeek and be guaranteed less of a security risk so why chance it? Also, you're more likely to get busted using a program like LimeWire. That's how our school catches most of our AUP and DMCA violations.
