There was a press conference in Vancouver on Wednesday with DD and CC and here is the key points -


-Main production has now wrapped for the film but will continue to shoot over the next week doing loose ends. David is now on his way back to LA. Gillian was not available due to illness but still in Vancouver.

-Many questions on DD and his infamous dislike for Vancouver(rain) several years ago. He explains. I might add that years ago it was taken way out of context.

-When asked if he thought the fanbase had waned at all over the past 6 years, Chris Carter's response was that although he didn't really know how to answer that question, what he did know was that 6 thousand fans showed up to WonderCon last month, so he's pretty sure at least 6 thousand people will go see the film.

-The "paparazzi" problems on set were also addressed. And the photographer who took the photos(*spoiler* news previously posted) was apparently in a dark SUV, taking pictures from the road through a long range lens.

-Chris said there will be at least one recognizable actor from Millennium in this movie.

Apparently Carter revealed some spoilers about the film, which I haven't read, but I luckily managed to see this wonderful tidbit that has me hoping excitedly that's not related to the film:
"Carter also revealed that he has mulled a movie based on his other TV series, Millennium, which starred Lance Henriksen. 'We've talked about that over the years," he said. "Lance would love to do it. I don't know if it would ever get done. It's a long shot. It would be fun. I have ideas about how to do it.'"

I've said it before: Millennium Season 1 ranks with any of The X-Files' best seasons. It's a very different and original dynamic and you folks should totally check it out. Though it can be frightening, I focus more on the main character who is so humbly confident.
