Crystal and Siobahn are my two favorites by a country mile. Sadly, Lilly is quickly moving to the "your quirkiness now sounds forced and you annoy me" category, along with Lacey and DiDi, although out of those three, I think DiDi did the best last night.

Simon made a comment a few weeks ago how a lot of them seemed to be trying to come across like the new Duffy or something, and it's true - I can't say for sure whether or not that is the honest and true tone of their voice, but it comes across to me like they're forcing the quirkiness into it, and it bugs me.

Paige and Katelyn should go home on Thursday. Maybe Katie, but at least she looked like she was trying.

Also, HOORAY for making it just an hour-long show!

Why did you use a spoiler tag for that?

I'm going to miss the first half of Idol, since I have both Top Model and Modern Family to watch, and as the DVR will only let me watch one of the two things recording and not have a third option, Idol gets the boot. I'll catch the second half.

I like Lee Dewyze.

I may have a very small crush on him.

My favorites are Alex Lambert and Crystal Bowersox. I'm afraid to see what AI will do to them with the makeovers.

Man, that was a strange show last night. I really hope I'm not the only one that didn't see what was so special about Big Mike's performance. First of all, the guy thinks his shit smells like gardenias, and I actually think it's more funny than impressive when he goes for those high falsetto notes. And reducing Kara to tears? Come on now.

Andrew's "Genie In A Bottle"...you know exactly what he was going for with it but that shit just turned out kind of weird and didn't work.

Tim Urban continues to crack me up. That kid is in wayyy over his head, but he did ok last night. Thank God he didn't go for any of Buckley's higher notes. Yikes.

I don't know who's going home. Aaron might be one of them. I don't know.

Mike and Todrick were the best last night. I really hated Casey's song choice, but I love him. Same with Andrew, he's still the best, but he was kind of underwhelming. He's still brilliant, and I think he did better than he got credit for.

I couldn't tell if you were doing it as a joke or if you were actually considering how someone did a spoiler! Sorry.

I caught at least a little bit of everyone except Lee and Tim. The only one I really liked last night was Mike, although the tongue bath he got from the judges was excessive. The falsetto was great, I didn't care so much for the verses. I think he's generally good, though.

Since I had to go to a concert, I caught the East Coast feed online and missed Lee.

None of the guys were as good as the top girls. I liked Big Mike and Alex Lambert. Todrick sounded better than he has. But otherwise just a big old back of meh. I miss last season.

I have a spoiler that has trainwreck written all over it.

The Top 12 theme is Music of the Rolling Stones. This is going to be bad as no one has Mick's charisma. Even Adam last year was pushing it. Although I would kill to have someone sing Gimme Shelter, if only for the backup singers to belt Rape Murder on the AI stage.

re: tc's above spoiler

Ha! You know they'll cut out that whole middle section anyway. But yeah. Can't wait to hear someone massacre the best Stones song ever.

Gimme Shelter is my favorite Stones song so I'm dreading it but excited at the same time. I'm just praying that there's NEVER a U2 night. I think they should stick to clearing their songs only for the good contestants.
