Steve Jobs for Governor?

In an opinion piece in the LA Times - i believe it was - the writer suggested that Democrats need something to counter the charisma of hollywood actors, who are supposed to be liberal, republican politicians. The writer suggested that a well-known successful business leader could do just the trick, and he suggested Jobs. Reactions? Suggestions?

No way. Jobs is too wrapped up in Apple to ever give that life away for politics. I wouldn't want him to leave Apple, anyway.

Why not for President ? American PR improves. We could have a really cool IPOD commercial to announce our new foreign policy.

I think the democratic party doesn't need an association with that kind of dictatorial megalomaniac.

I personally think it's a great way. He's managed apple through difficult times and brought them through to amazing new heights. Plus he likes U2, and that can't be a bad thing.

Nah, I wouldn't have the time to use one.
