I can find out tomorrow at work. Someone in my office found then for sale somewhere in Arlington/DC, but you had to put your name on a list to order them.

Ebay is ful of them, and I've been getting junkmail about them constantly. They're selling for $7 for 1 pack or $20 for 4 + $6 shipping. Do a search on google if you want one.

Looks like a number of playing card manufacturers are creating "authentic reproductions" as the military allegedly only produced 200 sets.

Iraqi Playing Cards

Get yours for only $5.95

I've been thinking about Ghazi Hammud Al-Ubaydi. He is the Two of Hearts in the deck.

Do you think his friends make fun of him because he was not evil enough to warrant a higher ranking card?

In this Wednesday April 30, 2003 handout photo from Greenpeace, U.S. President George W. Bush appears as the ace of spades in a the deck of cards issued by anti-nuclear campaigners who have created their own most wanted list. The Greenpeace deck is meant to focus attention on the dangers posed by nuclear arsenals and 600 decks are being handed out to delegates at a two-week meeting on the 1968 Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, in Geneva, Switzerland.

I get e-mails all the time about those cards, and I admit, I want to buy a set. But I don't know which ones are the "official". I guess the only official ones are those given out to the troops. I've seen them for $20.00 or $5.00

Greenpeace had their version, now another group is trying to capitalize on the "Deck of Cards" theme:
