I have faith that there is a rational reason for belief in God entirely independent from the possibility of Gods existence.

a little impolite
and as dogmatic as any "religious" person

is it fair to say one may lack the "intellectual prowess and dexterity" to allow for anything that does not "fit" into "their own" understanding of "rational reason"?

I believe that there are many, many more things in the universe, that we do not know and understand with our current "rational reason" than the paltry few things we do understand.

I can not grasp where it begins or ends, why? or how it began?
The possibility that there may be something behind it, however small that possibility is, can not be completely denied.

That first cause possibility does exist, and technically I would be agnostic, but practically I am atheistic.

The statement of faith in the previous statement implies that I would like it to be that way, even though it might not be. Just because I would like religion to be explainable for real world reasons does not neccessarily make it the case.
