.....raining. For about the fourteenth day in a row it's raining here. I don't have to water the plants, but I can't do anything outside.

It flooded here last week. Boiling hot the day before, then 3 inches of rain. Our kitchen got flooded... scary!

Mind you, compared to the unfortunate people in SE Asia, we got away lightly to say the very least. It just made me more thankful for what I have.

We just had a truly horrible storm. I had cancelled my Fourth of July plans anyway due to the heat and not feeling well, but I think the party I was going to got rained out. That's too bad because it was a giant party for the diocese's Catholics.

Damn... Cindy's remains are hitting us soon. A potential flood is on its way... but they say it's an 1" fall at the most. Anyway you look at it, rain's still rain. Just really a lot of rain tomorrow.
