Was there an alternate title?

How To Dismantle... (don't have the patience to type) is such a clunky title. Does anyone know if they had an alternate title in the running?

There was a rumor at one time that the album was to be called 'Solar'....if I remember correctly.

Solar would've been an awesome title! Goes with the one word scheme of Boy, October, War, Zooropa and Pop. I don't like using acronyms like HTDAAB too much (even though I've used that one before) because sometimes you can't tell what the hell it is! Like someone typed TTTYAATW (?)

I was looking at an earlier thread about the 'new U2 release' Solar! It's so funny now reading those responses.

They should've gone with the title Solar and done some kick ass experiemntal stuff a la Mofo or even Fly.

I think they meant "Trying to throw your arms around the world". Acronyms are annoying.
