i'm gonna have to join the list and say

also i would say Mysterious Way

i'm surprised no one has mentioned Slow dancing
same kind of low voice as If YouWear That Velvet Dress imo

Dreaming With Tears In My Eyes...

For everyone who's been fortunate enough to hear it.

I have a feeling who REALLY wrote that song. For who. And why.

It had all kinds of people asking Bono for the first time if he was ever going to do a solo album.

I weep uncontrollably whenever I put it on.

And for that reason, I haven't played it in 14 months.

I know this is a weird answer but I'll say "Love is Blindness" Not really for the words but the music and the mood to me are kinda sexy...

Good tune.

Who do you think really wrote it? And for whom?

Holy Joe- Bono's heavy breathing. It invokes lust.
Love is Blindness- Adam's bass and Bono's voice epescially the "Love is drowning. In a deep well all the secrets. And nothing to tell. Take the money....honey...blindness" part.
With or Without You- The missing lyric especially when watching R&H
The Fly- Bono's voice and Edge's gospel backup
Exit- Something about this song sends shivers down my spine. "Oh my love.......The hands that build"
Love Comes Tumbling- sexy in its own right
Bullet The Blue Sky- Live. The interlude when Bono talks
Desire- Lover I'm on the streets.....
Lemon- Bono's falsetto
Now I have to listen to these songs.

gotta throw my 2 cents in......all  festive in various ways

Even Better....
Mysterious Ways....
I forgot about that "yeah" at the beginning of Desire
oh, Deep in the HEART

I've never owned POP or Zooropa some i know the names of songs but not the lyrics or music

some songs not mentioned

Drowning Man- voice, music & part of the lyrics

and the duo of Robertson [the Band] & Bono on- Sweet Fire of Love" Almost fell of the chair the first time i heard that one!
I only have it taped off the radio, on one of my misc songs {new wave/punk/alt] of the 80's tapes. I usually find it by suprise. Still does it for me everytime.
