ESPECIALLY suggesting Oasis are better than Blur. I haven't seen such madness since people started getting the bloody Spice Girls to number one!

I think Blur progressed more successfully than Oasis but their best work isn't as good as the first two Oasis albums..(but then again most stuff isn't)

I tried my darndest to listen to the first two Oasis albums with an open mind in order to hear what everyone was hearing that was so great, and this is before I heard any Blur besides their big singles from Parklife onwards...but I just don't get what's so amazing/groundbreaking about it! :huh:

I think the most accurate thing about the list is the distance between AB and JT. Both U2 albums in my opinion are virtually neck and neck, but I think that JT should be the highest placed one...

Oasis' music isn't groundbreaking in the slightest. It is fabulous however if you want to sing your heart out. They make life affirming songs with meaningless lyrics that make you just want to sing and throw your arms in the air. They just have great tunes :drool:
