Please pick your favorite.

If you notice that the artwork you submitted for a song is missing and you still have it on your computer

or

if you didn't submit artwork before, but would like to now:

Please post a picture of it here, so it can be added to the poll.

Plus email the artwork in it's original size to: miringeltje @ sbcglobal . net and title email : Interferer Artwork: (song title) from (Interference username).

When submitting artwork, please take the following in consideration:

1) No need to add "the Interferers" to the artwork

2) Avoid using images of the band. Original artwork is preferred.

3) Maximum 800 pixels wide, but not smaller than 600 pixels. No restrictions in heigth.

4) Save and send files as .png or .jp(e)g (for photos).
If you use Photoshop, please save your .psd file. But no need to send .psd.

The names of the artwork makers will not be given when the polls are still open, as we don't want that to influence your vote.

That smilie always confuses the heck out of me.

What are you trying to say, QB?

I know what she meant and I would have to agree but I would never say so.

Miringe, are you not experienced in the boarding department?

Guess not.

At this point, I'm not even sure what you mean by boarding.

Rapid fire quotes often equal win.

Oh really?
Thanks for pointing it out.
Too bad really then, that I just don't (completely) agree with the rapid fire quoted sentence.

Did she tell you directly (what she meant)?
If the answer is no, then you gave what Queen Bee posted your own interpertation.
An assumption.
What you think she meant.

I did the same thing.
And with my question was checking my assumption.

Will I get an answer? Highly doubt it and that's allright.
Probably the polite or wise thing to do any way.
However one can also choose to go in the opposite direction.
And that would be OK too as long as it's not an personal attack.
Now whether you agree (would have done/put it like that yourself) or not, is something different.

This is a poll to vote for your favorite artwork.
What are your options?

To read the thread or not.
To like the artwork or not (perhaps even feel neutral about it).
Vote or not.
Post a reply in the thread or not.
And what you write in your reply is up to you.

As an artworkmaker, you want everybody to like and vote for your artwork.
But isn' that a bit unrealistic?

Should a poster take into consideration what effect their post might have on somebody else?
Would be nice if they did, but they don't necessarily have to.
Of course, it's not going to be fun for the artworkmaker to read a post like : artwork# ? (or heck, all of the artwork) is crap.
However it's not a personal attack.
Perhaps you personally wouldn't have put it down that way.
Or you might not have posted that you didn't like it at all.
But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion.
And it's their choice if they want to post and which words they use to do so.

And rapid fire quoting just doesn't make sense to me in this case.
If asked for your opinion, there is no win or lose, no right or wrong, but like or dislike, agree & disagree.

Allright, back to the poll.
Nice number of votes in already.

So I'm thinking of putting the poll for "I will follow" up tomorrow.

Received some additional artwork for the rest of the songs today.
This is where we're at:
Number of artwork submitted for the rest of the songs thus far:

I will follow : 6

Angel of Harlem : 7

The Unforgettable Fire : 6

Stay : 5

I am confused as to how they're numbered. My vote is the lake that says Beautiful Day. Surely everyone is reading it wrong because the little kid drawing sun is running away with the votes and that is by far the worst one. Maybe everyone is confused as to how they are numbered too?

The lake is #6

The little kid drawing sun is #5

to be honest I don't really like any of them but if forced i'll have to go with number 5

I thought it had to be some kind of mistake and surely everyone meant to vote #6! With all those beautiful and well thought out photos how could a little kid sun drawing be running away with it?

A big :applaud: to everyone who took the pictures and added the captions. They are all excellent ideas and I'm sorry they're not winning.

Thanks for the honesty, gareth brown.
No forcing, it's all voluntary.
Personally, if I didn't like any of them, I wouldn't vote.

well not "forced" but number 5 was the only one I really like as the rest look like whoever's made them's gone and found a photo of somewhere and stuck on a quote from the song in MS Paint, I just thought maybe there'd be something a little more "inspiring" for artwork that's all

Ah... Ya'll know that the "see China right in front of you" line is actually a taking a shot at that country for their human rights, right? In the middle eight Bono's alternating positives and negatives in the lyrics.

See the world in green and blue - good
See China right in front of you - bad
See the canyons broken by cloud - good
See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out - bad
See the Bedouin fires at night - good
See the oil fields at first light - bad

I mean, they're really nice pictures, and if you're going for an ironic subtext you've nailed it...
