It was for his children, talking about his own death one day, and how his kids can make it w/o him. But after his father's death, he thought it was almost like his father wrote it for him.

Beautiful, haunting, elegant song.

"Lemon" always makes me want to cry - the loss that Bono feels in this song is so palpable. :hug:

It is TRULY ONE OF U2's MOST UNIQUE SONGS.

And the high notes the B-man reaches in this song is incredible.

U2 at their experimental best. I love "Lemon". :up:
