Rolling Stone Mag: "Rattle & Hum" In Top 25 Music DVDs Ever

Rolling Stone magazine has listed its Top 25 Music DVDs of all time, and U2's Rattle & Hum checks in at number 25.

We all know that it of course should have been numero uno, but hey, at least they put a pic of the boys on the front page of their website:

Decent list, they should put together one for concert DVDs only though. Because Slane should so be there .

The only U2 DVD that should be in the top 25 is Under A Blood Red Sky.

Oh wait.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

The Wilco movie was great. A good documentary.

The Radiohead film Meeting People Is Easy is good too.

If anyone says Slane, Boston, or Chicago ... they are quite mistaken.

R&H contains the best concert footage of any band I have ever seen. It is beautifully filmed especially the black and white footage. I love the lighting and the contrast.

R&H has some great concert footage, but overall I found it excruciating to sit through and could totally see why the band had copped it from the media at the time.

I'm absolutley with you: best concert footage of any band I have ever seen.

Perhaps some people need some more years to understand the beauty of this film.

The film has some awkward moments, no doubt, but the concert footage is top-notch. If only Joanou could direct all their concert releases...ah, bliss.
