Seriously, and not wanting to escalate this, but I've seen dozens (maybe hundreds) of comments like that in this forum in the past year, and they haven't been pounced on and sworn at.

Sometimes comments just rub you the wrong way, and other times they roll off your back. It's all in the timing.

I'm sure you've experienced that, too.

And honestly, yours might be the first one that's come up in a thread I'm heavily involved in. I'm not in all threads at all times, and don't care about the bulk of the threads going on.

I stay out of the threads I don't care about. I don't go in and poke my head around before making a semi-snide remark about the quality of the thread or how awful this place is these days.
