So with the new Vertigo video, and the appearance of it being shot in the middle of nowhere (somewhere in Spain I believe).
Why does Bono have to sing into a microphone in most (not all) of the footage?
Do not get me started as to where it is plugged into!

I think it's just a prop to hold on to....btw where do you think they plug in the electric guitars?

I asked my hubby how he thought they made the video, he said it would have been done with a blue screen - so why the heck did they go to all the effort to do it in the middle of nowhere? Cuz they've got the money to blow?

a real location makes for a better looking overall environment. The sky for instance and acctual performance shots wouldn't have loked as good if they were done blue screen.

Why perform on a blue screen when you are filthy rich and can afford a Spanish beach?

Cheers,

J

Bono loves his microphone. I can't have imagined the vid without him lunging forward and grabbing one at some point :)
